Fernando Avila

Mr. Fernando G. Avila joined the Hotel Sourcing Corporation (now Hotel Sourcing Alliance) in 2003 as VP Business Development and now serves as President & Chief Executive Officer.  Mr. Avila is in charge of total management of the corporation reporting to the board of directors.  Mr. Avila was instrumental in the development and growth of the Hotel Sourcing Corporation as an important player in the Hotel Program Management Consulting Market.  Under his leadership Hotel Sourcing has implemented over 900 hotel programs in different parts of the world and has conceived and developed the Hotel Sourcing Alliance concept.  Mr. Avila has over 20 years of experience in the Corporate Travel Business. Prior to Joining Hotel Sourcing Mr. Avila worked for various Corporate Travel Management Consulting companies including BTLogic, in Austin, TX, Virtual Travel Manager in Mexico City as well as in three major travel industry companies, American Airlines, British Airways and Grupo Posadas (Hoteles Fiesta Americana).  All his positions were corporate travel related.  Mr. Avila is an Industrial Engineer from the "Universidad del Nuevo Mundo" in Mexico City.

Harri Cummins

Mr. Harry Cummins joined the Hotel Sourcing Corporation (now Hotel Sourcing Alliance) in 2003 as Chief Financial Officer in charge of all the financial aspects of the company.  Since 2006 Mr. Cummins also serves as the Chief Operating Officer responsible for managing the day-to-day activities of the corporation.  Mr. Cummins has over 25 years of experience in turnarounds, startups, acquisitions and reorganizations in a wide variety of companies.  For the past six years he has been a partner with Tatum, LLC, a nationwide leader in providing executive services and financial consulting to businesses in transition.  In addition to the Hotel Sourcing Corporation Mr. Cummins has been the CFO for nine companies.  He has also held executive positions in strategic planning for Visa USA Inc., Lucky Stores Inc. and AT&T Capital Corporation.  A former CPA, his public accounting experience was with KPMG Peat Marwick in Atlanta.  Mr. Cummins holds an MBA and a BBA in accounting from Texas A&M University.

Mr. Robert Manning

Robert Manning

Mr. Robert Manning joined the Hotel Sourcing Alliance in 2007 and serves as Director of Technology. In this capacity, he oversees the development and operation of the Hotel Sourcing Rating software platform.  Robert began his career with Hotel Sourcing in 2007 as a Systems Consultant and helped design, develop, and test the Hotel Sourcing Rating software.  Robert's systems experience includes 17 years of full cycle software and database development in the Insurance and Manufacturing industries. In addition, Robert operated a rental property and rehabilitation business for seven years until relocating to Texas in 1999.  Robert graduated with Bachelor of Science in Computer Information Systems from DeVry Institute of Technology in Atlanta, Georgia. He recently completed an MBA in Strategic Management from the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas.

Meghan Burke

Miss Meghan Burke joined the Hotel Sourcing Alliance in 2006 as a Hotel RFP Specialist.  Her position started to evolve as she became responsible for managing all relationships with the company's corporate clients.  Miss Burke now serves as Director of Corporate Market Development for The Hotel Sourcing Alliance. In this capacity, Miss Burke oversees the development of the relationship between The Hotel Sourcing Alliance and all its corporate members. Meghan's vast experience in the travel industry includes corporate market related positions in EF Educational Tours in Cambridge, MA, Garber Travel in Boston, MA and in the Hotel Sourcing Corporation.  Meghan graduated with a degree in B.S Hospitality Management, Summa Cum Laude 2001 and A.S. Travel & Tourism Management, Summa Cum Laude 2000 from the Johnson & Wales University in Providence, RI.

Miss Julie McCormick

Julie McCormick

Julie McCormick joined The Hotel Sourcing Alliance in 2006 and serves as the Director of Hotel Relations. She attended Johnson and Wales University and received her B.S. in Hospitality Management in 2002.  Since graduating she has worked in the hospitality industry as a CSR at EF Educational Tours as well as a Banquet Captain at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront.  While in college Julie studied for two weeks in Thailand and hopes to travel more in the upcoming years. After moving around the US, she and her husband have finally settled in her home state of Connecticut. In her free time she enjoys traveling, boating and spending time with family and friends.
